When we opened our doors, our goal was to create an optometry practice and optical shop that brought leading research, technology, and talent to the Cincinnati region while becoming a part of the Mariemont community. We’re thrilled to announce that we met this goal and have continued to build upon it for the past decade.
From the start, Eyecare on the Square has been a family affair in more ways than one. Our practice was opened by optometrist Ehryn Cartwright, OD in 2013, she was joined by her sister, Carly Rose, OD, FAAO in 2015, who now owns the practice. Although the office continues to expand with the latest technology and equipment, and a new optometrist, Dr. Jonathan Burt, we’ve worked to ensure our office maintains a small-town family feel, even though, with specialties in treating certain eye conditions, we frequently welcome patients from all over the tri-state area and even internationally.
Thanks to you, we’ve become your resource for regular vision care, glasses, and contacts, but also for treating certain eye conditions, like dry eye disease, binocular vision disorders, glaucoma, cataracts, and macular degeneration, often co-managing with referring ophthalmologists.
Personal attention and family focus draw in local patients. We’re thrilled that Dr. Burt now is our primary optometrist for patient care. Dr. Rose frequently is on an international stage, speaking about optometric best practices, with specific expertise on dry eye disease, which attracts patients from all over the region and even abroad. When not educating other eye doctors, she oversees Eyecare on the Square, as well as provides dry eye care to patients at the newest location: Clear Eyes + Aesthetics (right down the street!). With an end goal of empowering patients to have the best vision possible, Dr. Rose frequently doles out advice via her Instagram and TikTok channels, giving thousands access to her skill–so if you don’t follow her on social media, you should!
To celebrate a decade of business, Dr. Rose and the ECOTS staff invite our patients and community to celebrate with a birthday party. Free and open to all, the party will include food, fun, special sales and trunk shows, and an opportunity to meet the doctors and staff.
